Before filming
If you want to film in the Notranjska Park area, you must:
- inform the area manager about the filming plan and
- obtain the consent of the owner or manager of the area where the filming will take place.

Briefing of the park manager
The task of the park manager is to carry out activities to achieve the park's conservation goals. Among them is also the task of cooperating with and guiding filming organizers.
Before filming, the park manager must be informed with the filming plan. Based on your information about the filming, in cooperation with IRSNC (Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature Conservation) they will determine whether your event complies with the conservation regime, rules of conduct, goals and purpose of the Notranjska Park. If filming in the park is feasible, the manager will provide you with guidelines for its proper execution in accordance with the Decree on the Notranjska Park.
The briefing of the park manager must be completed at least 14 days before the filming with the completed form.

After receiving a complete application the manager has five (5) working days to assess whether your event is in accordance with the conservation regime, the rules of conduct, the goals and purpose of protecting the Notranjska Regional Park. If filming in the park is feasible, the manager will provide you with guidelines for its proper execution in accordance with the Decree on the Notranjska Park.
A complete and submitted application is not a permit for filming.
The manager will inform you, in writing, by e-mail, of the decision whether filming in the Notranjska Regional Park area is in line with the conservation goals.
Applications are processed in the order of their receipt dates.
Processing of "out of turn" applications, e.g. due to short notice of filming, is not carried out.

Before filming, you must check the ownership status of individual parcels or properties on which you have planned to film.
On public spaces, owned by the Municipality of Cerknica, it is necessary to obtain prior consent for temporary use of public space and attach it as an attachment to the Application for informing the park manager about the filming plan in the Notranjska Regional Park.
Price list for temporary use of public spaces
On public spaces owned by the Farmland and Forest Fund of the Republic of Slovenia or by other public institutions, it is necessary to obtain prior consent for temporary use of the public space and attach it as an attachment to the Application for informing the park manager about the filming plan in the Notranjska Regional Park.
On private land, it is necessary to obtain the owner's written consent in advance and attach it as an attachment to the Application for informing the park manager about the filming plan in the Notranjska Regional Park.
Some basic restrictions and guidelines during filming in the Notranjska Regional Park
- Access vehicles may be parked by the filming contractor in accordance with the provisions of Article 28(b) of the Nature Conservation Act. Do not leave the delivery routes with vehicles and park outside them. After delivery, they must be moved to official parking lots. Technical equipment should, as a rule, be carried on foot or with hand carts.
- Temporary structures and equipment (tents, stalls, generators, toilets, etc.) should not be erected outside the prepared surfaces;
- Temporary structures and equipment (tents, stalls, generators, toilets, etc.) should not be placed under tree canopies or near trees, especially not on their roots;
- Technical equipment should not be leaned against, hung on, or affixed to trees or shrub vegetation in a way that damages them;
- Cutting, breaking or other forms of violent destruction or damage to trees and shrubs is not allowed;
- The installation of filming equipment should be carried out in a way that after completion allows restoration to the previous state as quickly as possible and leaves no trace;
- During filming, sound amplification and lighting should be kept at the lowest possible intensity;
- Commercial advertising during filming is not allowed;
- During filming, the public must be allowed to use public spaces (this mainly applies to obstructing footpaths);
- In a visible place provide a warning sign (purpose and duration of closure) in case of closures or deploy a person responsible for communicating with park visitors;
- During filming, adapt the filming as much as possible to park visitors so that their visit proceeds unobstructed;
- Earthworks such as digging, dumping, etc. are not allowed;
- Use of fire and introduction of water is not allowed;
- After filming, the space that was used should be restored to its previous state as soon as possible. Remove all objects, items, signs and waste from all used surfaces.
- The organizer should handle waste as close as possible to the principle of “zero waste event.” If this cannot be ensured, they are obliged at their own expense to provide separate collection and disposal of waste according to the criteria set by the public service operator: Javno Podjetje Komunala Cerknica d.o.o.; Notranjska cesta 44, 1380 Cerknica.
After filming - leave no trace
The state remaining on the field after filming is a measure of responsibility toward nature and other users of the space. Therefore, after filming, please tidy the filming area and restore it to its original condition as soon as possible.
