"Javorniška Baba", a lesser-known peak just below the highest part of the Javorniki hills, rewards hikers with an exceptional view of Snežnik, Nanos, Sv. Trojica, Pivka basin, Triglav and the vast Javorniki ridge.
On the hike you will:
- explore remote forest paths, trails and trains,
- learn about the characteristic karst phenomena of the Notranjska region,
- enjoy the peace of the vast Javorniki forests,
- observe the rich flora and fauna of the area,
- reach a lookout point with one of the most beautiful views in the region.

- Trail: 18.6 km, 1000 m elevation gain, not technically demanding
- Duration of the hike: from 9:00 to 16:00 (7-8 h)
- Length: 18 km

- Required equipment: appropriate hiking clothing and footwear, recommended hiking poles, protection against mosquitoes and ticks, sunscreen, drink
