Notranjska Park Day invites young and old explorers alike to a day full of experiences, creativity, and socializing in the mystical landscape of Lake Cerknica.
On Sunday, 14 June 2026, the "Trikotnik" parking area near Cerknica Primary School will come alive with nature-themed activities, exploration, and fun for the whole family. Between 9:00 and 16:00, visitors will be able to discover the stories of Slovenia’s natural parks, learn about nature conservation projects, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the event.
Visitors can take part in creative workshops, XXL wooden games, inflatable playgrounds, and children’s entertainment activities, where the youngest participants will learn about nature and its protection through play and hands-on experiences. A special highlight of the day will be the children’s musical performance “Let’s Sing and Dance with Damjana Golavšek” at 10:00.
The event will also feature local cuisine and presentations by local creators and artisans, making Notranjska Park Day a wonderful opportunity for enjoyable family time and connecting with nature. Admission is free.
