Beekeeping Education Trail GPX, Lake Cerknica, Slovenia

The Beekeeping educational trail is situated on Goričica island, in the heart of the mysterious and ever-changing Lake Cerknica.

Equipped with educational boards, it offers basic knowledge about bee colonies, the life of bees, bee food, bee products, bee diseases, the history of beekeeping, honey plants, and essential information for young beekeepers.

The circular route is 200 meters long and features 12 informational points.
The educational trail was completely renovated in 2024 by the Cerknica Beekeeping Association.
