Well-conditioned hiking enthusiasts can head right for the Notranjska Mountain Traverse – a one- or two-day hike, on which Lake Cerknica can be circumnavigated via four peaks – Veliki Javornik, Mount Križna, Slivnica and Špička. The feat is a royal test of mountaineering in Notranjska.
