Dvorobo upright bare stem of St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) is leafed with oppositely arranged oval to oblong sessile leaves, which are densely translucent-dotted across the entire surface. Five-petaled bright yellow flowers are about 2.5 cm wide. Pointed sepals are colorless. St. John's wort grows mainly on dry soils throughout Slovenia, and it has been used for treating wounds, burns, inflammations, and as a soothing agent.
