Nettle-leaved bellflower (Campanula trachelium) is a perennial with a bristly stem, which in cross-section is four-angled. The upper, lanceolate stem leaves are sessile, the lower ones heart-shaped and stalked. They have a serrated edge and resemble nettle leaves. The blue bell-shaped flowers are about 4 cm long. 

It thrives on rich soils, especially in sunlit forests. In our country it is a common and widespread species.
