Family: bellflowers (Campanulaceae)
Flowering time: June–August
Size: 30–90 cm
Habitat: pastures, meadows and forest edges

Zahlbrucknerjev repuš (Phyteuma zahlbruckneri) is a tall, slender plant that is crowned by a cylindrical inflorescence of light blue flowers. The inflorescence is 4 to 10 cm long. The erect stem is leafy with narrowly lanceolate leaves, which become smaller toward the inflorescence. Basal leaves are petiolate, with a rounded or narrowed base. From similar repušs it is easiest to distinguish by the shape of the flowers and the number of furrows. The flowers of this species (at least before they fully open) are more or less flat, and the pistil of Zahlbruckner's repuš has 2 furrows.

Zahlbruckner's repuš grows best at higher elevations, on acidic, fresh soils moderately rich in nitrogen. In Slovenia it is not common and occurs mainly in the western part of the country.
