Many-flowered Spanish clover (Dorycnium herbaceum) is a medium-sized subshrub. Its stems are leafy with sessile, palmately compound leaves. Lanceolate leaflets that form palmately five-leaved leaves are scattered along the stems. Small white flowers form many-flowered inflorescences at the tips of the shoots. In each terminal inflorescence there are 12 to 25 flowers. They are 3 to 5 mm long. Many-flowered Spanish clover is widespread across almost all of Slovenia. It is more common in the southern part of the country, and in its extreme northwestern part it is absent.
