Cvetoča navadna prevezanka (Chamaespartium sagittale) na skalnatem delu travnika.

Family: legumes (Fabaceae)
Blooming time: May–July
Size: 10–30 cm
Habitat: dry meadows and light forests

Common prevezanka (Chamaespartium sagittale) is a low sub-shrub with numerous erect stems without thorns. The stems are broadly winged, and the winging is interrupted at a few places, hence the name prevezanka suits it well. Its stems are leafy with a small number of simple leaves. The oval leaves are 8 to 25 mm long and up to 8 mm wide. At the tops of the hairy shoots develops a dense cluster of flowers, consisting of bright yellow, up to 1 cm long flowers. Common prevezanka grows in sunny places in moderately warm habitats throughout Slovenia.
