Marsh lousewort (Pedicularis palustris) is the only one among our louseworts with a branched stem. Two-lipped pink flowers have a lighter lower lip and a darker upper lip. It thrives in sunny locations on moist and barren soils. It is a semi-parasitic species.
In suitable habitats it can be found here and there throughout Slovenia, but is more common only in the interior. In the Slovenian Red List it is listed as a vulnerable species.
