This year, Notranjski Park will once again join the Autumn Fair and Seed Bazaar with a presentation of the LIFE FOR SEEDS project, while the Jože Udovič Cerknica Library will present its Seed Library project.
Once again, we invite you to take part in the exchange of locally grown seeds and seedlings. At the stalls, you will be able to choose from a wide selection of autumn seedlings, local produce and products made by local associations, farms and craftspeople:
- Vrtnarija Čeč – autumn and grave plants, pumpkins,
- Ileršič Organic Farm – local produce, flour, millet and other products,
- Sovdat Farm – excellent cheeses from Kobarid,
- Klasje Association – seeds and seedlings,
- Lesko – wooden products and candles,
- Hopka Šivarija – hats, headbands and other textile products,
- KALI Centre – stones and jewellery,
- Lavendee – natural soaps and other products,
- MeriLu – handmade products,
- Jože Šparemblek – handmade products,
- Primary School Jože Krajc Rakek – their handmade products,
- Rakek Beekeepers' Association – honey and other bee products,
- and other exhibitors.
At the Rakek Tourist Association stall, we will treat you to homemade pastries and drinks. The Klasje Association will serve delicious fried potatoes, while our younger members will prepare tasty pancakes.
As the fair takes place in October, which is Fire Safety Month, members of the Rakek Volunteer Fire Brigade (PGD Rakek) will also join us. They will present their activities, fire engines and equipment, and visitors will have the opportunity to try their hand at extinguishing a vehicle fire in its early stages.
