Take a ride across the intermittent Lake Cerknica, discover the wild world around us, enjoy the spectacular views, and at the end treat yourself to homemade honey.
Near the Lake Cerknica, on the islet of Goričica, there is a Beekeeping Education Trail. You will head there by canoe, and a beekeeper will be waiting for you to present his activity, show life in the hive and offer you different honey flavors. During the paddle across the lake you will also learn about Skadulca Cave, from which water flows into Lake Cerknica, and about various animals and plants that the largest Slovenian lake provides a home to.
