Listen to the story of two castles on opposite sides of Cerknica field (polje) and the unfortunate love that led to the field becoming a lake.
You will experience the story during a canoe trip on Lake Cerknica from Rešeto Bay to Skadulca cave. Somewhere here Jezerko, the waterman, crawled out from one of the caves and advised the young prince how to get from one end of the field to the other by boat. The lake, which sometimes is here, sometimes isn't, has always stirred spirits and inspired this story of Notranjska Romeo in Juliet.
Duration: from 10:00 to 12:00 (2 h)
