Cultural Center Cerknica is celebrating 20 years this year – two decades of performances, concerts, films, gatherings, creativity and stories we have shared with our visitors. To mark this special anniversary, we invite you to join us for a celebration on Friday, 11 September 2026, at 7 pm. The official part of the evening will begin with addresses by the Mayor of the Municipality of Cerknica and the Director of Notranjski regijski park, followed by a conversation reflecting on the journey Cultural Center Cerknica has taken over its first twenty years.
At a round-table discussion with the former and current heads of Cultural Center Cerknica, we will look back on memories, anecdotes, milestones and behind-the-scenes stories, while also turning our attention to the future. The discussion and the entire evening will be hosted by Vesna Telič Kovač. Music will be provided by Počeni škafi. And, as befits any birthday celebration, we will round off the evening with a festive cake and a chance to spend some time together.
