Carnival Saturday in Cerknica is traditionally reserved for the youngest. This year will be no different.
Little masks from near and far are invited to Cerknica for a celebration, a varied program is promised. We will be entertained by the Chupacabra Circus, Fairy Eksena and the Superheroes, and the Wizard Grega.
You are invited! On Saturday, 14. 2. 2026, at 14:00 to the Marquee by the Cerknica Elementary School!
CHILDREN UP TO 1 METER IN HEIGHT AND DISABLED PEOPLE HAVE FREE ENTRY.

When purchasing each ticket for the children's masquerade, you will also receive a coupon that you can exchange for juice/water or a donut (one piece of your choice) at the event. Everyone who purchases tickets in advance will receive the coupon upon entry to the event.

Friday Carnival Party

A musical group on stage under a marquee, in front of them a crowd of visitors at a carnival party. The tent is decorated with hanging ribbons, as is customary for the Cerknica carnival.
