Story:
A story about Dare Vidic and his confrontation with events that took place 50 years ago. At the time, two consecutive gunshots cut short the young lives of a group of hikers on Mount Triglav. When he decides to finally try to understand what happened, he is forced to confront his fears, guilt and helplessness. Can conversations with the last surviving witnesses help him free himself from the burden of the past? Can he forgive himself?
The film serves as a memorial to those who lost their lives and as a reminder to today’s generation of hikers, mountaineers and climbers. Its message draws on the life wisdom gained by the now-adult participants in the tragedy: in natural disasters, there are no culprits—only fate, which can determine the course of a person’s life.
