Join us in exploring Rakov Škocjan - the picturesque karst valley that formed from a karst cave by the collapse of its ceiling. On an approximately five-kilometer hike between two natural bridges, which rise about 40 m above the ground, you will come to know karst phenomena well and cool off in the shade of the trees surrounding the valley along the Rak stream.

We will gather at 9:00 at the parking lot by the Rakov Škocjan Hotel, where you will meet your guide. From here, we will follow the educational trail, on which we will see the Small and Big Natural Bridges, the valley through which the Rak stream flows, the ruins of the church of St. Kancijan, after which the valley was named, springs that gush water after the rains, and much more.

A group of hikers stands on a wooden bridge in Rakov Škocjan. They look at the Rak River, which flows peacefully below them, in the foreground there are green tree branches.
