This year again, at the beginning and the end of summer, we are preparing Tales beneath the treetops for our youngest visitors! For many years, this beloved event has brought puppet shows and live performances for children to the enchanting garden of Gallery Krpan.
Story:
The play tells the story of the little witch Mici and her raven Alfred, who, after graduating from the “Royal Academy of Fairy Tales, Folktales, and Fables,” find work in the picture book *Janko and Metka*. One day, the mischievous Mihec gets his hands on the picture book and tries to destroy it. To save themselves and the others, they jump out of the book and find themselves in our world, full of new challenges. While the wicked witch Malefic is looking for a new job in the fairy-tale world, Mica gets a job as a librarian and makes sure the children treat the picture books with care.
