RRA Green karst, in cooperation with partner organizations from the Green karst destination, the Association of Slovenian Travel Journalists, and the Slovenia Outdoor association, is organizing the fourth traditional Cross-border Fair of Local Providers Green karst 2026.
The central tourism and business event in the region offers a unique opportunity to present services and products, network among providers and visitors, establish new business partnerships, and gain valuable knowledge. Participating tourism providers from the Green karst destination, leading Slovenian destinations, and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County will have the opportunity to showcase their services and products, while visitors will discover the rich tourism offer of the region.
EVENT PRESENTATION
- Participation is free of charge.
- Each local tourism service provider will be assigned their own promotional booth where they can present their offer and services (50 booths available).
- Registration is mandatory. Providers must submit a completed registration form no later than March 10, 2026.
- For Slovenia Outdoor members, a site visit and e-MTB cycling experience will be organized in the morning.
- The Tourist Information Centers (TICs) of the Zeleni kras destination will have a joint promotional booth.
- The event will be moderated, and catering will be provided.
- Based on the registered exhibitors, a catalogue will be prepared.
- As part of the event, free educational workshops will take place. The aim of the workshops is to improve service quality, enhance business performance, and adapt to modern tourism trends and new target groups. The workshops will feature practical examples of good practice presented by renowned tourism experts.
- The event is not sales-oriented.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, starting at 1:30 PM (concluding at 8:00 PM) at Dom na Vidmu in Ilirska Bistrica (Gregorčičeva cesta 2, Ilirska Bistrica).
