We are pleased to announce that, as implementers of LIFE projects, we have been invited to take part in the production of a promotional video showcasing good practices of the LIFE programme in Slovenia. The video is being created within the project LIFE Capacity Building 2, led by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy in cooperation with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning.
The first promotional video aims to highlight concrete results and impacts of selected Slovenian LIFE projects, including: LIFE Stržen, LIFE Lynx, LIFE for Seeds, LIFE IP CARE4CLIMATE and LIFE BioTHOP.
Our project is represented in the video by Ana Gabrejna Fajdiga, coordinator of the LIFE Stržen project and current leader of the LIFE TRSCA project. In her statement, she highlighted the key challenges, solutions, and achievements of the LIFE Stržen project, which we are especially proud of—particularly in the context of its positive impact on the natural environment and the local community.
We are also participating in the filming of a second video entitled “Why Prepare a LIFE Project?”, which aims to encourage new applicants to develop their own projects within the LIFE programme. In this video, we share our experience in implementing the project and offer advice for those still considering submitting an application. What we shared on this topic will be revealed in the coming months.
We see this collaboration as an excellent opportunity to promote the LIFE programme more broadly, raise awareness about the importance of environmental projects, and encourage the exchange of good practices that contribute to nature conservation and climate change mitigation.
