A group of people is seated around a table in a room where a presentation or meeting is taking place. At the front, a projection screen displays a slide with graphs and text. Two banners are hanging next to the screen, and on the table there are cups, bottles, and papers.

Representatives of Notranjska Regional Park, the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature Protection, and DOPPS – BirdLife Slovenia recently visited the Őrség National Park in Hungary. The study visit focused on exploring Hungary’s practices in managing agricultural and forest land, with particular attention to the databases used to support these efforts.

This exchange of knowledge and experience is an important step toward developing an effective database for land management in support of nature conservation in Slovenia.
