On Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5 2025, the Notranjska region once again filled with the aroma of local delicacies during the culinary event Taste Notranjska 2025.
This year, local restaurateurs once again proved their ability to blend tradition with modern culinary approaches, offering visitors authentic yet fresh flavors of home-style cuisine.
Under the slogan “Come for lunch,” this year’s participants included Notranjska House, Bajer Estate, restaurant Domin, restaurant Pri Stani, Strle Tourist Farm, and restaurant Cajnarje. Over the course of two days, they served a total of 252 menus prepared from local ingredients, delighting both locals and visitors from other regions.
The survey results showed a high level of participant satisfaction. 82% of respondents rated the cleanliness and organization of the venues as excellent, and as many as 96% gave the highest rating for the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The price-to-quality ratio of the meals also received the top score from 74% of guests. Visitors highlighted the variety of offerings, the deliciousness of the dishes, and the pleasant, homely atmosphere that Notranjska provides.
Taste Notranjska event once again stands out as a celebrated festival of local cuisine and a testament that traditional dishes in a modern twist can create an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
