This year, in cooperation with providers and local tourist guides, we organized 39 themed weekends between April and September, attended by a total of 502 visitors. This was the third-highest attendance, following last year—when August rains filled the lake and made attractive canoe experiences possible even in summer months—and 2020, when Slovenians were discovering their home country in large numbers.

Satisfaction Rating
After each experience, participants were asked to complete a short survey to evaluate the event. We were primarily interested in how satisfied they were with the guided experience and what they valued most about these events, as our aim is to continue providing high-quality experiences for our visitors.
We received 211 completed questionnaires. Participants of the themed weekends praised the events, with ratings similar to previous years, and almost half of the respondents felt that the themed weekends exceeded their expectations.

Visitors most enjoyed the various guided canoe trips. Many of them also ventured to explore Rakov Škocjan, the dried Cerknica plain, on various hikes – from Javorniki to Menišija plateau and the sSprings of Lake Cerknica, as well as a shorter survival in nature courses and a journey along the tracks of the bear Pija.
We thus enriched visitors' experience of the mystical land of Lake Cerknica in the Notranjska Park with an interesting array of experiences. Some glimpses can be viewed in the photo gallery.
