Overall project results
1. We tested innovative methods (short-term cattle grazing, mosaic mowing, manual removal of invasive plants), and developed guidelines for sustainable meadow management.
2. The project contributed to improved pollination, seed dispersal, and greater resilience of ecosystems to climate change.
3. Through workshops, lectures, and publications we spread knowledge and good practices among professionals, farmers, and the wider public.

Why is the project important?
Species-rich meadows are essential for maintaining biodiversity, pollination, and the stability of agricultural ecosystems. We are glad to have contributed to the successful dissemination of results and raising awareness about the importance of sustainable management of these valuable habitats.

Dissemination of results at the Visitor Center Lake Cerknica.
Thank you to all partners for excellent collaboration and support in achieving our common goals. Our work here is not over – we will continue to support measures for nature conservation and biodiversity.
The project was co-financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food and the European Union from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
