Notranjska Park organizes science days for groups of preschool children aged 1 to 6 years.
Visitor Center Lake Cerknica
The program weaves together visits to the Visitor Centre Lake Cerknica and the exploration of karst phenomena on and around the Drvošec thematic trails, with the help of experiential workshops, exploration of habitats, and the use of various didactic tools: binoculars, telescopes, magnifying glasses, identification keys, catch nets and learning sheets.
Through various activities they will address and achieve different goals from the Curriculum for Kindergartens:
- Encouraging diverse approaches to understanding nature,
- discovering, understanding, and comparing living and non-living nature,
- discovering and understanding the properties of water and other natural substances,
- developing a positive, respectful, and responsible attitude toward living and non-living nature.
