Outdoor classroom – Hlejvi is intended for carrying out educational and awareness-raising activities in accordance with the aims and conservation objectives of the Notranjska Park.
Visitor Center Lake Cerknica
It is intended for small groups (up to 30 people) for conducting educational workshops, meetings, or other activities related to nature, environmental education, and interpretation of natural and cultural heritage.
Classroom reservation
The classroom is available for use by small groups with prior notice and in agreement with the facility manager.

General provisions
VAT: *Services are exempt from value-added tax in accordance with Article 42 of the VAT Act
Terms of use of the classroom: includes up to 30 seats and the use of a presentation and storage counter. The classroom can be used for lectures, presentations, and workshops for up to 30 people. Classroom use is possible between 10:00 and 16:00. All visitors are required to follow fire safety rules as well as all applicable laws and regulations. The classroom is not connected to the electrical grid and has no sanitary facilities. Its use is free of charge for associations based in the Municipality of Cerknica, subject to reservation and general conditions.
General Terms of Use for the Classroom
- Capacity: taking into account the spatial arrangement and safety, use is allowed for groups of up to 30 people.
- Suitable equipment: for access to the classroom, it is recommended to wear appropriate walking footwear.
- Fire safety: due to the risk of fire, smoking and burning open flames is strictly prohibited both inside the building and in its immediate surroundings.
- General safety and responsibility: entry and use of the classroom take place at your own risk. Climbing on wooden posts, fences or other parts of the building is prohibited. Users of the classroom assume full responsibility for their own safety or the safety of participants.
- Respectful use: users of the classroom should treat the facility with respect. Any damage and deliberate destruction of the classroom and its equipment (scribbling on surfaces, painting, uprooting plants or engraving inscriptions into wooden structures) is prohibited. In case of damage, the users take full responsibility for the damage incurred.
- Users of the classroom should maintain silence and respect the natural calm of the area (noisy behavior, playing music). It is prohibited to pick plants, disturb animals or any interference with the natural environment.
- Waste handling: users must carefully tidy away all waste after themselves and take it to the first properly organized waste collection point.
- Walking on established paths: movement around the classroom should be limited to the marked thematic trail Drvošec, which passes directly by the classroom. Walking on meadows and other sensitive habitats is prohibited.
- Filming: in case there is a need to film workshops, meetings, etc., it is necessary to obtain prior consent from the area administrator. Instructions and the form to obtain consent can be found at this link.
- Refreshments: in the classroom, with prior reservation, a small refreshment can be organized under the following conditions:
- all food and drinks must be prepared in advance (cooking and reheating food on the site is not allowed).
- users must independently arrange all necessary additional refreshments accessories (tables, etc.). - Electricity and sanitary facilities: the classroom is not connected to the electrical grid. There are no accessible sanitary facilities in the immediate vicinity of the classroom. Users of the classroom must inform the participants about this in advance.
After finishing use, the classroom must be handed back in the same condition as it was when it was taken into use.
