Canoeing on Lake Cerknica is possible from April to September, provided the water level is suitable.
You can rent a canoe at Lake Cerknica without prior notice every weekend, if weather conditions and the water level are suitable for paddling.

Water experiences and excursions
For water experiences and excursions that include listening to a tale about the creation of Lake Cerknica, visiting the oldest beekeeping trail in Slovenia, or paddling accompanied by a biologist who reveals the full extent of the biodiversity of this exceptional area, advance registration is required.
Canoe trips are suitable for groups of 6 to 20 people, and the program itself can be adjusted to the group's wishes, taking into account the water levels of watercourses, rivers and the lake.
