If you are tempted to row on the underground lakes, Križna Cave is the right place for you. This karst cave is world-famous for its underground lakes with stalagmite barriers and the discovery site of cave bear bones.

Križna Cave enchants with its primeval beauty – underground lakes, tranquil stone halls and stalactite formations create a unique backdrop of the karst world. A shorter, approximately one-hour tour reveals to visitors the special characteristics of this natural landmark.

The tour begins on foot and also includes a boat ride on the first underground lake, which provides a unique contact with the quiet beauty of the karst underground. Visitors return to the exit along the same path.

Natural light disappears after a few hundred meters, so exploration takes place under the glow of flashlights. This creates a mysterious and almost magical atmosphere that further enriches the visit.

The cave visit is characterized by spacious, majestic halls and numerous underground lakes. On the way there are also diverse natural obstacles – stalagmites, basins, stalactites and rocky ledges – which liven up the experience and emphasize the variety of the karst world.

One of the features that excites everyone are the fossil bones of extinct cave bears. Their size and well-preserved remains draw the attention of both adults and children.
