CarbonClear

The goal of the partnership is to enhance existing conservation efforts and introduce internationally recognized methodologies for verifying carbon capture and storage procedures. CarbonClear focuses on solutions for carbon management and sustainable development and, with the help of natural ecosystems, contributes to mitigating climate change. With modern methodologies and strategic partnerships between organizations, it helps to offset the carbon footprint and funds projects for nature conservation.

Education and Awareness

Education is a core part of CarbonClear’s program. The organization conducts workshops, seminars, and online courses for businesses, public institutions, and individuals about the environmental impact of carbon and ways to reduce it. These initiatives encourage environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.

Innovations and Development

CarbonClear continuously develops innovative solutions based on cutting-edge scientific findings and technological advancements. Collaborating with research institutions and experts enables the development of advanced carbon capture and storage methods and sustainable natural resource management.

Added Value for the Environment and the Economy

CarbonClear brings added value to both businesses and communities. By implementing sustainable practices and carbon credits, companies can reduce emissions and improve their environmental footprint. Additionally, the organization contributes to ecosystem restoration, ensuring long-term benefits for the environment and society.

CarbonClear Program Goals:

  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions through innovative methods.
  • Promote sustainable practices in the economy and public sector.
  • Restore and protect natural ecosystems as carbon sinks.
  • Raise awareness of sustainable development and carbon neutrality.
  • Strengthen collaboration between research institutions, businesses, and policymakers to accelerate the transition to a green future.

Partnership between CarbonClear and Notranjska Park

Notranjska Park, spanning over 220 km² and comprising forests, an intermittent lake, peatlands, and grasslands, serves as a crucial carbon sink and habitat for many endangered species. The partnership will enable the development of innovative carbon capture verification methods tailored to the park’s unique landscape.

According to CarbonClear’s CEO, Oleg Mičević, the agreement marks a significant step in linking environmental conservation with sustainable financing. Establishing a reliable framework for carbon credits will allow recognition and reward for conservation efforts already undertaken while encouraging future projects.

In Notranjska Park we recognize the importance of this partnership, which offers a unique opportunity to develop best practices that can serve as a model for other protected areas.

By integrating nature conservation with carbon offset financing, the partnership between CarbonClear and Notranjska Park sets an important precedent for environmental funding. This initiative strengthens the role of sustainability-oriented businesses in biodiversity protection and adaptation to current and future climate challenges.
