Explore the unspoiled nature of the springs of Lake Cerknica.
We will walk across diverse meadows to the springs of Lake Cerknica, discovering rich natural heritage along the way. In addition to nature, we will revive traditions and customs of the people who once lived here. The bravest and most skillful participants will be able to try traditional loop fishing in the clear pools along the path.
We will enter the world of Lake Cerknica’s springs, turn stones in dry springs, observe the play of water in wet ones, and listen to the silence and tranquility surrounding this karst gem. Our exploration will be enriched by the knowledge and experience of researchers of the Križna Cave and nearby caves.
We will also explore energy points along the route that positively affect well-being. After approximately two hours and 4 km of walking, we will refresh ourselves with homemade delicacies and learn about farm life.
