In Notranjska Park, we continue with training within the framework of the LAS NP Academy project - Module for the catering sector. We are currently conducting individual mentoring with restaurateurs and providers of culinary experiences who are participating in the development of the culinary program Taste Notranjska. The goal is to raise the quality of the local gastronomic offer and connect restaurateurs into a single and recognizable culinary story of Notranjska.
The mentoring is led by hotel and catering expert Matic Kriter, who, with his many years of knowledge and experience, helps restaurateurs improve work organization, raise the quality of services, and create a more attractive and modern offer.
Mentoring is designed to be carried out directly in the establishment, where the mentor, together with the owner and employees, reviews key elements of the operation and proposes concrete solutions such as:
- optimization of work organization (kitchen, serving, purchasing, planning),
- improving the quality of service and hospitality,
- adapting the offer to the expectations of the modern guest,
- introducing local ingredients and dishes in accordance with the Tastes of Notranjska program,
- advice for more efficient and sustainable business,
- a new perspective on the development of culinary products and the overall guest experience,
- increasing competitiveness and long-term improvement in revenue.
The main purpose of the mentoring is to raise the culinary quality and uniform recognition of Notranjska as a gastronomic destination, while also strengthening the development of the local catering sector. The program provides catering establishments with professional support that is difficult to obtain under normal circumstances, and encourages them to improve, cooperate and develop in the long term.
Mentoring support will continue throughout the entire project period. The results will significantly contribute to upgrading the Tastes of Notranjska program and strengthening the local culinary offer.
