The Public Institute Notranjska Regional Park, on behalf of the Municipality of Cerknica, is publising a public call for the sale of agricultural land of conservation importance within the range of priority habitat types and species in the Notranjska Regional Park.
Purchase of agricultural land of conservation importance
The REVITA2 project envisages the purchase of up to 34 ha of agricultural land, which, following the purchase, will be owned by the Municipality of Cerknica and managed in the long term by the Notranjska Regional Park for nature conservation purposes.
Priority for purchase will be given to agricultural land:
- larger than 0.3 ha,
- important for the management of Natura 2000 sites,
- which is less suitable for agricultural practices.
