Notranjska Park offers an abundance of hiking trails, suitable for more or less experienced hikers. Join us for hiking days – organized hikes in spring and autumn terms. You can choose between six guided hikes through the mystical land of Lake Cerknica.
In the footsteps of blooming spring
- 23 May 2026: Explore the beauties of Menišija forests and meadows on the Bear's Footsteps Trail
- 24 May 2026: marvel at the springs of Lake Cerknica on the trail in Janko's footsteps
- 6 June 2026: follow Pavel Kunaver's path along the Rakov Škocjan
In the colorful rhythm of autumn
- 5 September 2026: Admire the views from the mount Križna gora
- 6 September 2026: Climb the lesser-known peak Javorniška Baba
- 13 September 2026: Set off along the trails of the legend about the origin of Lake Cerknica – from Šteberk to Karlovca castle
In the company of local guides
On all hikes you will be accompanied by experienced local guides, who know every corner of the mystical land of Lake Cerknica and will share with you numerous stories, legends, and interesting facts about nature and life in this area.
Hikes full of surprises
Each participant can also look forward to small surprises, little gifts, and snacks that will ensure a pleasant experience on the trail.
